Mi name is Cecilia Hernandez, and I am the founder of Cecilia Hernandez Bakehouse where elegance meets creativity. Here´s a little bit about me and how Cecilia´s Hernandez Bakehouse came into being...

The journey begins when I was 13 years old, getting into cake decorating as a hobby. Captivated by the joy and artistry of cake design and pastries, I decided to pursue my passion by attending culinary school for 2 years and signing up for more pastry courses. This training laid the foundation for my expertise in baking and cake decorating, allowing me to hone my skills and expand my creative horizons.

In 2020, when the pandemic hit and jobs were put on hold, I created a little bakery back in Mexico with my sister. We thrived on a dynamic menu that change weekly and provided delivery service to our community. As life gradually returned to normal, we continued operating our bakery. During this time, I felt in love, got married, and moved to the United States. Despite the changes I never stopped taking pastry courses, always eager to learn more.

 In November 2022, I crafted my first wedding cake. I will never forget the excitement of creating the first wedding cake a white 2 tier cake. This experience ignited a passion within me to create elegant and timeless cakes for couples on their special day.  In 2023, I rebrand my little bakery as Cecilia Hernandez Bakehouse; to better reflect the personal touch I bring to each project. I put all in every cake I make and decorate and love the whole process, from the initial consultation where we explore your vision, to the moment we unveil the finished cake. It is a collaborative journey that ensures your cake is a reflection of your style and celebration.

I specialize in creating exquisite buttercream cakes, renowned for their smooth texture and delightful taste. However, my skills extend far beyond buttercream. I am also adept at creating cakes for every occasion, from birthdays and anniversaries to baby showers and corporate events. In addition, I offer a variety of pastries that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.

My goal is to craft a cake that not only looks stunning but also tastes divine. I am committed to using the finest ingredients and paying attention to every detail to ensure that your cake is a true reflection of your unique style and personality.
